Helpful Website for Teaching English: SCHOOLOGY

Language can be learnt everywhere with everything. We can use various of media, including technology. In particular, there are various applications (both online and offline) which are helpful and accessible for ESL/EFL teachers and learners. In dealing with online learning, there are several websites usefully facilitating teachers and learners to possibly keep in touch, even when they are in different place; such as edmodo, schoology, engrade, and so on. Right now, I want to discuss about schoology. 

Have you ever heard about Schoology?

Schoology is one website which provide ESL/EFL teachers to keep in touch with the students easily; as we are talking about online learning, it means that teacher(s) and learners don't have to come to a classroom or particular place. This can be used for more than one courses; different codes are needed for each course. In addition, there are many different features which help students to get what they have to do clearly; as you can see in this following picture:

also, teachers can give materials, assignments, score, and even students' grouping in specific links. So, it is obviously understandable for students even though this is for the first time for them to use it. Look at this picture:

Teachers are not only the ones being active here; as they are delivering materials, giving assignment, and showing the scores, but the students can be influentially active here. There is a features for students which allow them to make forums and discuss together about some particular topics. So that they can share their idea, give important information, and many others. According to me, schoology is very good website for online learning, especially for ESL/EFL teachers and students. It shows clear instruction; so the students know what they have to do, it has several beneficial features, and it makes students become naturally active in joining the course.

Generally, most of websites for online learning have the same advantages as I've mentioned above; so it depends on the teachers to choose which website will be used for teaching (English or other courses), this article is just expected to give additional information.
