Assalamu'alaikum....



Computer Assisted Language Learning is one of my lectures which discuss about media for teaching and learning English. In particular, this course gives beneficial ways for teacher (especially English teacher) to explain the lesson, give tasks for students and even explore learning media using technology. I am learning this subject for about 2 semesters; I am trying to explore ideas for teaching English through technology in both website online and application for computer or laptop.

Teaching Listening: Podcasting

Assalamu'alaikum... As English teacher candidates, we're of course trying to improve our teaching ability, starting from approaches, methods, strategies, techniques, and learning medias. In teaching language. the four skills become the most important aspects, as we want learners to use everything that we have taught them to be applied. Particularly, in teaching listening skill there are a lot of optional ways or medias: songs/musics, videos, podcast, and many others. A couple weeks ago, I've got a lesson about how to make your own podcast. Also, I've got to do the assignment as well. I'm not sure whether this is a podcast or just an online audio. I've tried to create it; but in the I've just succeed doing this.
