Web-Based Tmiline - History of CALL

Hello everyone! Do you know how many features in your computer/laptop that can be used as media for teaching or learning English? Do you know what kinds of websites that can give you information or tools for teaching or learning English?
As I have briefly explained in my previous post about CALL (Computer Assisted Language Learning), we can figure out how computer is really helpful for our teaching or learning process. One of them is using timeline to explain or show sections of materials in your book or chapter, deadline of your assignment, also you can show to your students the schedule of lesson materials that they are going to learn along semester.
This following picture is an example of my web-based timeline about the development of CALL:
Actually, there are several web-based timeline creators. In the example above I used tikitoki. It is very easy to create it. You just need to sign up in the website and build your account, and you can directly build your timeline based on the clear instruction in the website. You can change the display of your timeline as you want; the background picture, the color of the date, the balloon of description, etc. Beside tikitoki, you can also visit other website, for instance: timetoast , timeglider, and dipity.
